Larchfield Estate is a venue that I have had the pleasure of being a wedding photographer at many times. This is testament to how popular it is, not only with couples in Northern Ireland, but also for many who travel from farther afield to have their wedding there. I often describe Larchfield to my couples as one of those venues where, in terms of the weather, 'all your bases are covered'. Come rain, hail or shine there is somewhere beautiful for photographs. Whether it be in the impressive walled garden or seemingly endless estate grounds, down by the lake or in the outbuildings and greenhouse...there is always somewhere to go, whatever the weather. It just so happened that for Adam & Kathy's wedding, they got an absolute corker of a day and managed an outdoor ceremony, which in Northern Ireland, makes me so happy! With being international teachers, guests had travelled from as far away as Thailand to attend the wedding, and it's safe to say they did not leave disappointed. The dance floor at this wedding will go down as one of my greatest. When it comes to dance floors, there is nothing more I love than to be in the mix, weaving through a tightly knit crowd of shape throwing, dancing enthusiasts. I woke up the next morning with bruises. The mark of a great night.
